Pilates

 
 

Pilates is one of my favourite ways to move as it focuses on centering, alignment and building strength in a way that isn’t harsh on the body. The breath is also so important, and movements work with the breath to engage core muscles whilst calming the nervous system- emphasising the mind body connection. It is truly great for everyone (male, female, old, young, pregnant, advanced, beginner) & is a wonderful adjunct to other exercise also.

I am a qualified instructor in Mat Pilates and have experience teaching a variety of ages and supporting clients with modifications for injury & through pregnancy and the post-natal period.


I have taught community classes, studio classes, in a gym and have been lucky enough to facilitate some gentle classes whilst volunteering in remote Arnhem Land (NT). Currently I teach regularly at Ritual Yoga & Pilates and private clients.
